applepumpkin.

well today is my first day of homeschooling. so far i am really enjoying it. so far facebook is really tempting. but that is besides the point. yesterday i went apple picking with the adams. let me tell you, it was a very enjoyable trip. first we went to one of livs many relatives house where we hung out then we went apple picking. apple picking was very enjoyable, although i did not pick apples. i just enjoyed watching people pick apples, people chuck apples and people trip over apples. then we went back to the relatives house, and liv and i enjoyed some very good conversations. then we went to another one of livs relatives and the entire family (yes our other half hannah) was there. goodness gracious its a big family. but also a very fun family. me, hannah and liv had some very silly conversations. we tripped alot, we rolled down hills alot, we also laughed(aka snorted ) alot.

it was a very enjoyable day.

home+school

well for all those who don't know, tommorow is my last day of public school. on monday i am embarking on a wild adventure, homeschooling (well maybe not wild, but you get my point) my reason for doing this is to turn back all the honor and glory to God. He's been so good to me and he has given me the greatest gift i could ever ask for, dying on the cross for my sins. In homeschooling i hope that I will get to know God better and have biblical fellowship by getting plugged into a christian environment so i can grow in Him. now school kids who are reading this are probablly thinking that I've completely fallen off my rocker, but really I'm not. I've always been a christian, but have never until recently had a true desire to live my life for Him in every aspect. i'm sad to be leaving my friends, but i know that i will still see you at anything the cheerleaders appear at and if you stop the choir room period nine on monday, wenesday, and fridays :)

and fear not.

the blog will continue.

:)

weighing in.

well i know the girl who talks like a three year old and is amused by cheese doesn't seem very qualified to weigh in on last night's presidential debate, but let's here me out. first and for most im a christian, which means i am a republican. but i am trying to look at this debate in an unbiased way. in my opinion, no one won or lost the debate, they both had great moments, and they both had low points. for me, mccain always had more content to what he was saying than obama. he used a lot of facts and put a lot of information about him and his plan to fix problems and also referenced it back to what obama failed to do. although im usually not a fan of candidates attacking each other,  i feel in this instance that i just learned more about obama and the policies that he voted for and against. on the downside i felt that mccain couldn't really get his thoughts together and he was kind of flustered and all over the place. it was good that he was on the defense but he got very confused and a little bit crazy when he defended himself. he couldn't make his thoughts into a coherent statement. On the other hand obama was very calm and collective. He looked young and athletic as opposed to mccain. he always said things in a way that was simpler and easier to understand. he proposed a lot of what seems to be propaganda and that he could fix everything and made it seem that he was the only person to single handedly fix all of our problems. its exactly what we want to hear. obama speaks in a way thats appealing to us and its hard not to believe. the problem is that he can't fix everything! and his answers were not filled with information and were just appealing to the ears. he didn't say anything that could possibly offend anyone and thats why commentators said he won the debate, even though he really didn't always know what he was talking about and it showed us that he doesn't have a lot of experience and know the facts. personally i want a president that knows this country, loves this country. i don't want a president that is just a good public speaker. a sweet talker can be deceiving.

wow, that was a lot to say. i hope you enjoyed my insight on last nights presidential debate.

what i'll miss.

i am going to miss these lovely macs.

not tacky.
well just a little.

today in class we talked about the echante, fante, and the youtay.
i am absolutely sure thats not how they are spelled.
but its how they sound
here is a picture of my screen today. props to matt for the picture

happy, happy, happy.

i really wish i could write what i was feeling right now. because i am very very very very happy. i mean im so happy i just have so much lots to say but there is way too much to say. if i could describe to you how happy i am, it would make you very very happy, because its a very happy happy day. there is absolutely no reason this is a happy day, yet it is a happy day. oh happy day. happy, happy, happy. happy is a weird word. didn't you notice? well its okay because even though its a really weird word, its is very berry good to be happy.

i hope you smiled when you read this.
i did.
people were looking at me funny.
whats new?

wafting, again.

well today in science class we did another experiment. as usual it was a very comical event. we wore our 80s throwback glasses, our teacher didn't want to take them off. he thought they were too snazzy. i turned my test tube black, because i put it in the fire. then i put my face really close to the flame and got soot on my face. and then we wafted. it was required to waft. not to sniff, but to waft. we had to get a good waft from the test tube, because it was crucial to the experiment to waft. let's go wafting!

p.s. i have off on thursday
p.s. im visiting compass on thursday

i would very much like to come home.
i am very much tired.
and I am very much anxious to have a pajama off with aaron.
WINSTON!
my teacher is giving out donuts, i've got to go!

wafting.

well today in science class, my teacher set a table on fire. well he used some ethane alcohol and set that on fire, but it was awesome!  then he told us to waft the alcohol. meaning to fan your hands over the alcohol and smell it. so now i am going to waft many things. i enjoy wafting. its my favorite. we also got to wear these really stylish 80s throw-back goggles. good times. well today is the pep rally, which I believe is going to be super fun. i'm singing the star spangled banner with choir, which will be mucho fun. and then doing a bunch of spirit activities (GO HOME FRESHMEN). then tonight, issac and sarah are coming over and i get to see aaron. we are going to see who' s pajamas are cuter (i believe i win, but sarah said this kid beats all in pajama-off), but we will see about that. i also am looking into a fish named winston.....

clap, clap bongo drums.

well today is what the heck are you wearing day. ive seen some interesting outfits, batman capes, guys dressing as girls. its very scary. but also very fun. i did not dress to crazily. its just an outfit i thought was ugly. tonight is powderpuff and bonfire. yesss. today in en-ga-lish we played clap, clap bongo drums. its like a hand game. its very fun. its also veeeery (ha teachers, i said very :) annoying after awhile. i am all over the place today. my brain is still discombobulated. call me if you find it.

ps. we were SOOOO paying attention to our teachers today

things, stuff, very.

well this post got deleted multiple times so here we go. once more. today in english class my teachers told me never to say things, stuff, and very. THINGS, STUFF, VERY, THINGS, STUFF, VERY! HA! That's for you teachers. Also I got my summer assignment back. I was planning to fail. I mean I thought a book that took place in the 1800s took place in 1920 and 1930. You see why I thought i was going to fail? Well anyway, my plans to fail got ruined. I got a 93 and 81. They are my new favorite numbers. These papers are going on the refrigerator. Also my teacher brought up a really interesting point. She said that writing is something that you made from nothing (she said thing!). It's a personal expression and something that doesn't need to have motive, you just make it up within you. So really if you don't think you're a creative person, think again. Because by writing one paper in your entire life, you've already made something up with your own thoughts from nothing. Then she talked about how plagiarizing is illegal. Nostalgia ruined.

p.s. I'm still paying attention to my teacher in this picture. or not.
